Grade Distribution:

A Design Projects
  • I: Product Dissection and Redesign Project (20%)
  • II: Client-Sponsored Design Project (30%)

  • Team work will affect your course grade. That is, poor team work will lower your grade, excellent team work will raise your grade.
  • Punctual attendance is mandatory for all class periods. Course grade will be dropped to the next lower grade (e.g., B to B-) for every three classes missed. Course grade will also be dropped to the next lower grade if there is a pattern of unpunctuality. All excused absences must be supported by written documentation, such as doctor's receipt, Penn State athletics travel notice, ROTC notice, etc.

Grades will be determined based your performance on the activities listed above. Final letter grades will be assigned as follows:

94 and above is an A
90-93 is an A-
87-89 is an B+
83-86 is an B
80-82 is an B-
75-79 is an C+
70-74 is an C
60-69 is an D
below 60 is an F
